Exploring Vaikaramuraidhoo: An introduction

 

Vaikaramuraidhoo is a medium-sized uninhabited island in the northern Maldives’ Haa Dhaalu Atoll. It is leased for agricultural work. This island offers both agricultural and tourism development potential. We are pleased to present a proposal for 15 hectares of prime land, which encompasses a range of enticing tourist attractions.

Location, accessibility and connectivity to nearby islands

 

Strategically situated in relation to major transport networks, this island stands to reap from its benefits. The closest international airport, Hanimaadhoo International Airport, is situated 38 kilometers away and serves efficiently both cargo and passenger operations. Furthermore, this island is served with a number of sea plane landing areas nearby with The Beach House located at only 34 kilometers, thus giving room for fast movement in or out of capital, Male’

 

Vaikaramuraidhoo possesses a ring of nearby inhabited and uninhabited islands which makes it advantageous for development. The nearest island is Vaikaradhoo which is only 6 kilometers away enabling access to the local populace while the nearest lagoon is Adhangau (R) which is 53 kilometers away, giving a suitable quiet and remote setting for a resort or farming.
